Recreation Program Information
What are age groups?
All age groups except TBall have a August 31 birthdate cut-off. For TBall, all players must turn 4 prior to January 1, 2024.
TBall (4 ½ & 5-year-olds)
Instructional-6 (6-year-olds)
Clinic-7 (7-year-olds)
Clinic-8 (8-year-olds)
Minors (9 & 10-year-olds)
Majors (11 & 12-year-olds)
Preps (13 & 14-year-olds)
Seniors (15 - 18-year-olds)
What is the cost?
$160 for TBall and $205 for I6-Seniors is the cost per player for the spring season, with discounts allotted for additional children. This DOES include the uniform of team hat, jersey, pants and socks. Each player is responsible for providing their own bat, helmet, glove and water bottle.
**TBall through Minors divisions: your child's batting helmet MUST have a face guard attached.
Where do we play?
The TBall through Minors divisions play at Fairhaven Park, 600 Obrecht Road.
Majors - Seniors play at Freedom Park, 100 Raincliffe Road.
When are practices/games?
Practice days/times are not determined until the teams are formed in March. The teams will practice one evening during the week and on Saturday prior to the start of the season. Once the season starts, teams will have a game one evening during the week and another game on Saturday, with the exception of TBall, which will continue practicing once a week and have a game on Saturday.

The Minors, Majors and Preps divisions will have Player Evaluations on Saturday, February 17 and Saturday, February 24 at Top Gun Baseball in Sykesville. The evaluations will help our player agents create an even playing field for all teams. More information will come at a later date, but please plan on attending at least one day of evaluations if your child is in these age groups.
Spring Baseball – Important Dates + Information
• Registration closes January 31, 2024.
• Evaluations for the Minors, Majors, and Preps take place on Saturday, February 17 and Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Top Gun Baseball in Sykesville.
• Practices will begin Saturday, March 16, 2024.
• Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 6, 2024.
• The All-Star games will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024.
• The season will end on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
